I like math because....

....in math a statement is either true or it's not ... whether we choose to believe it or not - doesn't change that - & I wonder if that's, in part, what God wanted us to understand about Him - when He gave us math - which seems to me like a not so secret(!) code that when "cracked" --- leads/points directly to Him!

Back when I was discovering for myself the simple yet complex patterns found in math & beautifully displayed in nature, the best word I could find to describe them is elegant(!) - but it was only after I found that word that I learned mathematicians use it to describe an especially pleasing method of proof ...
