Art & organization (order!) are two things I've seen discussed so much on various blogs recently. With that in mind, I tho't to share this thought provoking video which I've posted (or one very similar) before - for your consideration & I'd love to read some of the thoughts it provokes if you're willing to share.
Edit/Note: I just noticed that comment at the end - & just wanted to clarify that it is not mine - not sure how it got there - & in fact I disagree with it.

Wow...VErY thought-provoking...Wow...Sorry....My brain is too tired to formulate my thoughts into a worthy comment tonight...but...Wow! I need to share that with our science teacher!
I am constantly, every day, every moment amazed at the wonders of the universe! I stand in awe before the grandeur that surrounds us. But my little mind cannot grasp it all so I just accept everything as they are and admire God's generosity to give all this to us.
Hi Mug - The first time I saw this, I was beginning to understand some of it for myself - I think my younger daughter was in 4th or 5th grade. was so humbled(!) by all that I was learning along with her & on my own. Now this pattern in nature jumps out everywhere! I also read a fascinating article on Spiral Symmetry to this same effect around that time in Creation Illustrated Magazine & if I remember correctly, that is what peaked my interest You can order the back issue here if you're interested: http://www.creationillustrated.com/article.php?id=27
& since you're a teacher you might enjoy this back post of mine called "I like math because..." here: http://yadayadah.blogspot.com/2009/03/i-like-math-because.html
Hi Yiota...some days it's easier to just accept what I cannot understand ... but I'm naturally curious so I keep trying to understand more! :) ...I've learned to ask God to open the eyes of my heart & to study both God's Word & His Works (illustrations?!) together (key word here :) .. & boy do I wish I'd paid more attention & done better in math when I was in school!
Thank you both for sharing your thoughts :)
Hey Mug - I should've mentioned that was the Spring 2003 issue of Creation Illustrated :)
Thank you, MyStory!
