In Chinese, the word symbol for: "life" is made up of two "components - "motion" + "Lord" which reveals the ancient Chinese belief that the Lord is the maker of all life, & "believe" is comprised of "person" + "word" - meaning that placing trust in a word is considered an act of faith or believing.**
I find that interesting when the words "Life" & "Believe" are considered in a biblical (ancient!) context & in John 1 in particular:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
John 1: 1 - 4
John 1: 1 - 4
He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
John 1: 10 - 13
