Secret Sisters

Our Women's Fellowship group at church is gearing up to do Secret Sisters w/ plans to kick it off near Valentine's Day. Love the concept so tho't to share:

What is Secret Sisters? -- A number of chances to bless someone in creative, personal & practical ways over four months - & be blessed in return in similar ways - & hopefully/ultimately w/ the friendships of two new sisters in Christ (the one you’re a SS to - & the one who is a SS to you)!

How Does Secret Sisters Work?

Complete a short questionnaire ...favorite color, interests, b-day, etc.

A random drawing determines SS pairs

For the next 4 months you bless the socks off your SS any number of ways…. we'll have a table at church to secretly leave SS surprises - or they could be mailed or stealthfully delivered (ie. candy, bookmark, Bible verse, card, flower, a cut-out comic strip/poem/article, a joke you heard during the week, remember their b-day &/ or anniversary ..be creative w/ your own ideas

Later - an event - & the silence will be broken! The cats will be out the bag! The mystery will be unveiled.....you get the idea :)

Our church has a secret sisters thing too, but apparently it's a secret on how to join because while there are announcements when end of the year parties are, there is no contact info on how to join, and no one has thought to invite me in the two years we've been at the church. But I suppose if I was really interested I could ask until I found out.

Hey! Thanks for the comment you left on the post about my mom and dad. Daddy has a calendar up in their kitchen with the days marked off and numbered as to how long Mama has been either hospitalized or in the nursing home. At any given moment he'll say, "Your mother has been away from home for 142 days." His love for his is sure and certain.

We did a secret sister event 3 years ago, but haven't been able to put one back together until now. Do you have a copy of the questionnaire you could share with me?
Grace & Peace,
Bunny
