The Simple Woman's Daybook

... where every day is blank page.

I am thankful...that my husband is home from Taiwan - and - that with the unseasonably warm weather we've had recently, I've been able to sit outside and recharge my batteries by soaking up some Vitamin D directly from the source/the sun!

I am thinking...that my "little girl" (aka Playmaker) is growing up so fast. Yesterday she was filling out a college application, we looked at a prospective new/used car for her, the dentist recommended she have her wisdom teeth removed and she applied at several places for her first real job and already has two promising prospects in that regard. All this in one/the same day!

In the kitchen...I made THIS for dinner last night -
and it really did taste like the chicken that you get at the "Chinese" places in food courts at the mall! I added green peppers to mine - and pineapple to the leftovers.

I am creating...well - nothing at the moment - but I'm hoping that this, about what it means to be creative,  is true:

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
  ~Scott Adams

If indeed it is true - I am waaaay more creative than I realized ;)

I am wondering...

"How do you live so that
when your kids think of the Grace of the Gospel,
 they think of you?"

I am reading...

I am looking forward to...

Spring!

We were given a sneak peek of it earlier this week and now it just can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned.

I am learning ... about the life and times of Christ.

I am pondering...a post I read recently titled What if God called you to Fail? by Rick Dancer

A favorite quote for today...

“God did not call me to be successful.
He called me to be faithful.”

- Mother Teresa -

One of my favorite things...call me crazy but I enjoy ironing :)
