1 box chocolate cake mix 8 oz sour cream 1 pkg instant chocolate pudding 1 cup chocolate chips 4 eggs 3/4 cup oil 1 cup water Mix all ingredients together. Pour into lightly greased 5qt crock pot, metal coffee can or Crock Pot Cake Bake pan. Cover. Cook 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. | |

Good Morning, Farmgal! I just use my crockpot. No specialty pan at all. Tho' baking it in a coffee can does sound like fun.....maybe we'll try that in the coals of a campfire sometime! I suppose you'd want to put foil over the open end in that case.
I still want to try the idea you shared of making individual dessert cakes in tuna cans!

Are you kidding???? Honestly, I've cooked small chocolate cakes in mugs, a cake in a can in my bbq, but this is news to me.

When I said that I'd baked small chocolate cakes in mugs, well, I did that in our microwave and it was fantastic.
