FIRE?!
This pic doesn't really do the scene I tried to capture justice...but the sun was shining just right on these trees in our neighborhood the other night & does it not look like fire?! :)
It amazes me sometimes when I get to pop in and check on you how i always seem to find something that I say "Oh my gosh! The same thing happened to me." or something of that nature. I recently tried to catch a very similar picture. I was coming back from a bike ride with the boys and hurried into the house to catch the way the sun was setting on the trees over our house. It had been a little overcast and the sun came out just in time to set, casting a beautiful light across the tops of the trees just beyond our house from our backyard view. Just beautiful and the picture did not do it justice.
It is great to see your fall, because we don't have one. It has been record breaking hot here. 90 degrees. We are ready for some fall. We might get cooler temperatures, but never the changing of the leaves.

Absolutely! Don't you just love that glow the trees get at the peak of color?
