Strike & I went outthis afternoon & stopped along the way so she could capture some color - which she did - in varying degrees that her camera allows. This feature on her camera is a fun one to play w/ as it allows you to "pull out" only certain colors .....
Black & White
Some color....

Love the fall photo's..and YES !!! Biscuits for sure ! And love the apple cider thing too...
You know what is funny. I was born and raised in California. But I have a friend, Sharon, who I used to work for at her antique shop in Cambria, Ca..on Highway One by Hearst Castle. Her shop was Hearts Ease..and it was filled with antiques that she brought back from New England. And I fell in LOVE with New Engalnd. Sharon and I both live in San Luis Obispo now..around the corner from each other, but she lives half time on Christmas Cove in South Bristol, Maine. I got to visit her there at her cottage..when I walked in I cried. I have never seen anything so cute !
My goodness! Strike has an artist's eye, doesn't she? But that is not surprising, since her mother does, too!
You both must have wonderful times when you are out together on projects like this.
Hi MFK ... oookkk - so that explains it :) We lived in CA for a while - my husband was stationed on a carrier at North Island - & we lived in OR before moving here.
Hi Farmgal...Thanks! - Yep -- we do have a lot of fun :)I'll have her read your comment & I'm sure it will make her smile :)
Neat! I wonder if my camera has tha feature...
Such a great metaphor for choosing to focus on one thing or another...
Hi Lupine...you're comment was SO timely - almost as if you were reading my mind?!... which is full of tho'ts that are SO scattered all over the map this morning....things I want to do, things should do, things I want to write about but am not sure I should...& the list goes on .... I guess I should choose what I'm going to focus on & go from there :)
Beautiful pics. She and I were talking about photos and such on Tuesday. What does she have for a camera? My friend has this feature on hers and I think it is so cool.
On a side note, thanks for sharing the Pink Thursdays with me. I'll have to do something with that in mind each Thursday this month!
Hmmmm.....IF I had to choose a favorite or 2.....I think I really like the "Some Color" (I like the way the rocks are so pronounced with the color in the background setting them off. The rocks are not so pronounced in the "Full Color".)
I also like the next-to-last-one.....The close-up color is beautiful and the reflection is great:) Hmmm....I feel an analogy in this....Just as when we have "close-up" quiet time with the Lord, we reflect Him so much better....? And the "rocks" in our lives are not so pronounced when we allow Christ's "Full Color" (full control)?
Hey Mom24...I'll have her bring her camera to show you & I'll look forward to your pink post on Thurs :)
& here's an e-hug for Mug! Welcome Back! I've missed you :) Great metaphor! I'll share that w/ Strike...as it will be neat for her to see see how her pics make others think about something they might not have tho't of otherwise.
