SpRiNg FeVeR!

It started when we re-arranged some furniture & I cleaned & organized my office/the corner of my world. In no time at all I found myself working my way quite systematically around the house cleaning/clearing out corners, closets and cabinets...and enjoying it! You know it's a rather severe case of SpRiNg FeVeR when once a job is done, you wanna open the fridge or a closet just to look inside and admire it!   Ohhh...I can only hope it's contagious - and that my girls catch it! If you could see their rooms at the moment, you'd understand. There's more to do - but today is a rather warm & rainy day ... perfect for reading by the window -  and I'm way behind in reading the book that needs to be finished for our book group discussion on Friday night - soooo - I'm gonna take a break of sorts & spend much of the day alternating between reading and doing laundry.   It's supposed to be in the 60's next week!  Hopefully by then the laundry pile will have reduced in size from mountain to molehill and I'll have cleaned to my heart's content and finished my book so I'll have nothing better to do than to go outside and .... pLaY!

Dear, dear MyStory(MyStug?)....How SwEeT of you to post on my future dug-in-lug's blog! Thank you so much!!

Now...as for this post of yours....I know EXACTLY what you mean about opening closets just to stand there and admire one's organizational & simplificational (is that a word?) "accomplishments":)

Hi MyStory,
Just popped in to say thank you ever-so-much for introducing me to the Yada Yada Prayer group series! I am finishing up Book 3 and have books 4 & 5 waiting in the wings:) There are layers of thought-provoking depth in these books. At times, I find myself laughing or commenting out loud...even talking to the Lord ... because of insights that WHAM! into my brain (and spirit) as i am reading.
I'm not expressing myself very well here....does what I am trying to say even make sense? Of course, you have read these books, so you probably know EXACTLY what I am talking about!

Good Morning, Mug! Yes - Indeed! I DO know what you are saying. Love how you describe them as having "layers" :) So glad you are enjoying them.

On another note, I really like the Mark of Lion series that's we "discussed" a bit. I can't say I'm enjoying it - as reading of Ancient Rome before it's fall is SOOo sad...and I find striking parallels to here and now ... but I'm learning so much and the story is both encouraging and convicting. I'm on Book 2 now...An Echo in the Darkness.

Sorry I've been "absent" from here for a while. I tend to binge & purge when it comes to blogging lately. I miss it....just wish there were more hours a day sometimes - or that I didn't need to sleep! :) Don't give up on me tho' :)
