The Other Promise
Alexis' most recent (& likely her very last one ever :/ ) recital song. She enjoyed the privilege of playing/practicing it the other day on an old 1876 Chickering concert piano.
Alexis is getting married soon and I'm sure gonna miss my girl and her music - but ... her baby grand isn't going anywhere for a while longer and I know she won't ever wanna be too far from it for too long - and so she'll hafta come "home" every now and then so they can spend some quality time together : )

This was beautiful and what a really neat location for practicing!! Four years into our marriage, we bought a home too small for a piano. I went home often to play, especially after committing to playing for choir and school events.
