You know you've had too much snow when....

...you call Home Depot and they answer your question before you even ask it! Seriously! Whoever answered basically said  "Welcome to Home Depot! Sorry - we don't have any roof rakes." all in the same breath and before I even had a chance to ask ... or to say "hello" myself!  But ... that was all I needed to know.  Ugh!  If this is the last you hear from me it's most likely because I've been buried alive!

There isn't a roof rake to be found at any store in New England! When one store gets a shipment, word gets out quickly and it disappears.

I've scattered cal. chloride on roofs before, but had never heard of the salt sock till just recently. Be sure it's calcium chloride if you try it.

Keep smiling! We're on the downhill side of winter :)

You can always play a game of hockey on the roof....if you can clean a gutter with a hockey stick, surely you can shovel snow off a roof with one!!!

LOL Mommazim! Fun-n-n-n-y. We'd be well equipped tho' if that were the case! Hugs!

From the "for women first magazine"
5 signs YOU'RE SO OVER WINTER

5. At first it was love, but now you want to smack the charcoal smirk off that snowman's face

4. When you see trucks salting the road, it makes you think of frozen margaritas

3. You set up a neighborhood watch to scout for Christmas decorations that need to be taken down

2. YOU TRIED MELTING THE SNOW IN YOUR YARD WITH A BLOW DRYER (couldn't you insert roof for yard? ha ha ha)

1. YOU'VE SECRETLY SWAPPED YOUR BRA FOR YOUR BIKINI TOP (hmmm, thinking of that trip to the sun maybe?)

hugs back to you and the fam, miss you all so much

LOL Mommazim! I think it's safe to say I've had enough of winter. I'm not one to wish my life away - but .... this IS a bit much ;)

I'd have to agree. We've had way more than our fair share of snow this winter... and I think my toes are frozen solid!

okay sun, you can come out any time now =)
