Strike captured these photos from our back yard tonight
- they're not cropped or doctored up at all.
How DOES she do it?!
If you look close at this one...

There's got to be a children's poem or story in there somewhere :)
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?

I see a Geaorgia-O'Keefe-style flower on the left on half!
It took me awhile, but I think I see the bellybutton...
I have tried for YEARS to capture a moon like that and have never been able to do it. Now, Strike, in her HOW MANY YEARS makes it look EASY!?!?!?! She's got talent!
That's a very talented young photographer you've got there!
Those photographs are just amazing. The moon looks like you could reach out and touch it.
Well, we were in shorts and t shirts.....
Amazing!
Thanks ladies....Strike (12yrs) will be so encouraged by all of this :) I understand the moon is difficult to photograph - which is why I'm so curious to know "how does she do that?! " :)
Randi Sue?! So good to see you here!
