I like having something to just sit & do & to have the quilt I'm working on to cover up w/ to keep warm at the same time would just be a bonus :)MYstory of HIStoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06938436011404677610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-146405233153268006.post-23394665511920368372010-09-16T18:46:20.230-04:002010-09-16T18:46:20.230-04:00My mom says tie through or hand, my sister says ha...My mom says tie through or hand, my sister says hand. The batting arrived for my quilt so I'm anxious to make my quilt sandwich and get started quilting. I don't think I can manage machine quilting so I'm going to attempt hand quilting. It will give me something to work on. It's my first as well!warriormomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17380682916830380194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-146405233153268006.post-58830216751700957812010-09-14T09:02:02.087-04:002010-09-14T09:02:02.087-04:00Hi Mug - yep that's me w/ Mak underfoot :) An...Hi Mug - yep that's me w/ Mak underfoot :) And I know what you mean... I'd LOVE to be a fly on the wall of my girls classes now. That class of Playmaker's sounds pretty interesting actually. It's one thing to have a strong opinion about something & quite another to communicate "why" clearly & effectively enough for others to, at the very least, understand & respect your position.

& Farmgal - wow ... thanks for your input on my quilt. You are such a pro & I am SO NOT! It means a lot coming from you :)

Thank you too Warriormom. I'm planning to machine quilt it...just hope I can sew a straight line!! Altho'...I may give tying it thru' some more thought. That might even be easier & just as good?? Might I ask what you would recommend here?? This is my first quilt ever - so I'm open to suggestions :)MYstory of HIStoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06938436011404677610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-146405233153268006.post-83806395633694358812010-09-14T08:04:42.131-04:002010-09-14T08:04:42.131-04:00Wow! Your quilt is striking! Are you going to hand or machine quilt it or tie it through?warriormomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17380682916830380194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-146405233153268006.post-71240867595365588502010-09-14T06:55:31.458-04:002010-09-14T06:55:31.458-04:00It's true that many hands make light work! You'll be able to sit back, satisfied, this winter, and spend time with your "young grown-ups". Indeed, they are branching out. You've given them the foundation that they need.

Your quilt turned out lovely! I'm impressed by the pattern/color placement. It draws your eye to the darker patches, then to the lighter ones. It was a very good choice of fabrics and pattern. I'm sure it will be well-enjoyed!The 4 Bushel Farmgalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17377555500812602424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-146405233153268006.post-25414243343930080632010-09-13T17:54:50.212-04:002010-09-13T17:54:50.212-04:00Hi MyStory....Love, love, love your new sunflower ...Hi MyStory....Love, love, love your new sunflower photo heading! And love this blog post, too. So much productive activity from every angle. Great photos! I literally chuckled out loud at the one of Mak in his "bed"....No dignity there!
And, my goodness that dog is huge...I knew he was big, but never realized quite how much so until I saw the photo of him sprawled out on your kitchen floor under your(?) feet!

Good to hear how the girls are doing...interesting writing class...For the Sake of Argument....Hmmm...Wish i could be a fly on the wall:)Mughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11217967283422615177noreply@blogger.com
